  • ✋🏼SLOW YOUR SCROLL… you may have heard this story before but I wanted to share again for those who haven’t. Why are “abs” such a big fitness goal of mine? And why do I think you could benefit from it?! .

About 7 years ago, I was getting into health and fitness but I couldn’t see ab definition if I was looking under a microscope. My husband was going to Las Vegas to work a really big fitness expo and the company invited me as well. I was going to be working alongside all sorts of “fitness models” who had the abs I pinned on my Pinterest “get fit” board haha. I was terrified to go stand next to those babes.

I worked out and ate somewhat healthy but had little consistency. I committed to 1 week of healthy eating, weights and core training. I swear to you at the end of that week, I thought I saw a tiny, baby ab (probably my imagination lol) but it was all the motivation I needed to keep it up. .
I’m sharing this because I’ve been the girl sitting on the couch, scrolling on Instagram, thinking “yeah I wish” and “I couldn’t look like that.” Then, I did something. I stuck to a plan. I stayed consistent. I had visible ab muscles!! Abs certainly aren’t what life is about but seeing ab defintion proved to me I could do whatever I set my mind to.
