#LGBeautyAndBooty Challenge: Upper Body Volume (W2D2)

Lemme tell ya about them lady guns….after you get done working on them today, you’re going to feel strong, empowered and positively charged! With upper body *volume* training, we’re focusing on hitting those 20 reps with proper form even if that means slightly lowering the weight. Give yourself just 45 seconds of rest in between sets ((use a timer….you’ll be so surprised)) to incorporate some cardio as well!

Tasty Tuesday Tip: It’s a pretty common goal these days for individuals to want to starting “eating healthy.” Here’s the truth…those who WILL eat healthy and SUSTAIN a healthy lifestyle leading to lasting results are those who learn to enjoy eating real, wholesome, naturally healthy foods! One of the best ways to start enjoying eating healthy is to mix what your taste buds like with new healthy options. For instance, I’m a peanut butter fanatic….I could eat it by the tub, so it makes sense for me to use peanut butter in healthy recipes. Say hello to this week’s Tasty Tuesday recipe: 6 Ingredient Papaya and Peanut Granola Bar Recipe (you’ll love its taste & simple prep) Healthy eating doesn’t have to be accomplished overnight and here at LG.com, I’m all about making health a lifestyle choice not just a temporary solution, so I encourage you to pair foods you already love with ones you want to start incorporating into your diet. Other ideas….bacon goes well in a lot of meals and a little bit of cheese can transform a meal. Just remember to use the LG Meal Plan portion hand rule to incorporate these items to snack on track 🙂
