ConfidenceKini Body Tip of the Day: A lasting bikini body is one that is fueled off of deep motivation. Health and fitness is something that so many of us initially get into for physical results. It isn’t until we start noticing deeper improvements, such as a positive perspective, greater sense of self-love, or a more peaceful attitude that we realize the depth of healthy living results. Therefore, to get hooked on those types of improvements and to strengthen our results, finding deep motivation is key. While we may want to lose our love handles or look great on an upcoming vacation, it’s important that we find a motivational force that comes from within. For instance, my motivation comes from aspiring to let who I am come from within through the character I possess, the words I speak and the love I share; healthy living helps me to be the best version of myself and that is what I hope comes through before any physical attributes.

Daily Challenge: Take a few minutes today to identify a deep motivational force you have pushing you through this challenge. Share your inner motivation with the community or find a quote that sums it up!

Here is a quote that describes my inner motivation:

Will there be at home workouts or do you need a gym membership?

  2. Jamie P

Wondering the same thing. I guess I assumed we would be able to do this challenge from home.

where do we find the workouts?

I am new to weight lifting. Do I go through all the exercizes once (15 reps each) and then repeat it 3 times after a break or Do i stay at each exerzise until i finish all sets ?

I didn't realize this would require gym equipment. Probably not the right challenge for me. Is is possible to add alternative exercises for those who do not have access to this kind of equipment?

  6. Emma

    Hi Lauren,

I have the fit for life at home edition of your ebook, will you provide alternate exercises from these for those of us without access to a gym?

    Thanks

    X

Hi ladies! Thank you so much for your feedback. All of my challenges have utilized gym equipment but there seems to be a lot of women without access to the gym participating in this challenge, so I'm glad to make adjustments!! Tomorrow's workout and all from here on out will have home workout modifications. Because it's a huge undertaking to plan & photograph a 6 week challenge, I will not be able to film all the home workout modification, but my Fit For Life ebook has a "photo exercise guide" that will contain all the exercises for the challenge if you would like to see how they're done.

    XO,
    Lauren

      Hi Lauren,

Thank you so much for doing the adjustments for those of us without access to a gym! Really appreciate all the hard work you put in!

Been looking forward to this challenge!

I have pretty much everything a gym has at home except for leg presses what would be a good alt. to them. Today I just did squats with 30 lbs on Barbell.
    Thanks

Do you have any suggestions on how much weight to use? Like, maybe based on body weight percentages? Just curious!

    Thanks!
