For this week’s combo pack (meal plan & 5 workouts):
Tip of the Day: Recovering after travel is one of my most difficult tasks. So, how do you do it?! Well, first off, let’s recognize it makes it a lot easier when you travel the healthy way. A vacation doesn’t need to be an excuse to skip workouts or to eat unhealthy; I like to modify for wherever I am. For instance, when on a beach vacation, enjoy a run on the beach or cardio while playing in the pool with your kids (don’t make it a chore). You can order healthy meals at restaurants… I like to stick to seafood dishes (asked to be cooked in olive oil over butter) or chicken salads (dressing on the side). Now, when you get home, the post-vacation blues may have set in a bit. The first thing I do is head to the grocery store. I allow myself to splurge on items I normally don’t buy to get myself excited about healthy eating. When it comes to workouts, find a guide! YouTube an exercise or use one of mine; I find it helpful to listen to someone else and integrate new, refreshing ideas to, yet again, get me excited to go to the gym!
I stop by here DAILY for my motivation to work out so THANK YOU for being so inspirational!
