Chest & Triceps Circuit – 3/20

Smith machine:
-Flat bench press
-Close grip press
-Incline push ups

Dumbbells:
-Incline dumbbell flyes
-Overhead dumbbell extensions
-Push ups off knees

Cable:
-Cable extensions to the side
-Single arm cable chest press
-Burpees

I love circuit training in the gym, especially when I’m going for a fast-paced, high-intensity workout. However, I occasionally feel like a mad woman running around the gym from one exercise to the next, so today I stuck to 3 locations – the smith machines, the dumbbell section, and the cables – for 3 movements at each spot. I found it to be a very focused and fun workout!

Tip of the Day: Fruit infusion water fun! We all know the importance of water and I’m sure you’ve heard if you want to lose weight and better your health, drink more water. It is true that hydration is essential to the body functioning properly, but water can get a little mundane. Instead of turning to a sugary, chemical-filled drink, opt for an infused water like this one. Recipe: sliced strawberries, sliced lemon, and blueberries. There truly are no rules – add whatever you like and in any amounts. I find the taste is best when I allow the infusion to take place overnight. I will continue to post some of the concoctions I come up with! Feel free to leave your favorite creations in the comment section!
