Legs (Week 7) – 12/16

-Leg curls
-Leg press, high & wide stance
-Leg press, close stance
-Barbell deadlifts
     superset with barbell forward lunges
-Dumbbell sumo squats
     superset with jump squats
-Leg extensions

Motivation Monday – let’s set some goals together! Maybe this is relatable, maybe not…I was supposed to just have one treat meal this weekend and nibbled a little bit too much on other things. Time to put that behind me and begin a wonderful week. How? Setting myself up for success – prepping food from this week’s meal plan, making time (not excuses) for workouts, and being able to complete life tasks so I feel balanced and whole. Fat burning isn’t going to happen if I up my stress hormone, cortisol for worrying about things; instead, get it done & make it happen!

Tip of the Day: I’m a total salad queen! I love salads! I love how small changes in toppings equate to a totally
different tasting meal. However, did you realize it is the choice of
toppings that can make a salad quite unhealthy: fried & breaded
chicken, croutons, loads of creamy dressings. 
Some of my favorite salad toppings: 
-berries 
-cucumber 
-peppers 
-lemon juice 
-hard boiled egg white 
-sliced almonds 
-sun dried tomatoes 
-avocado
