Back & Biceps – 10/15

Back:
-Assisted pull ups
-Pull ups (no assistance) to failure
-Reverse grip lat pull downs
-Bent over barbell rows
     superset with barbell deadlifts

Biceps:
-Seated dumbbell alternating curls
-Barbell preacher curls
-Cable rope hammer curls

Daily Dose of Motivation: It’s
only been 5 months since this place was my home – driving past this
weekend was bittersweet. I get a lot of questions from college students
asking how to balance healthy living during the 4 years that seem to be
about binge eating & drinking. My advice…what makes YOU happy. For
me, being in the bars at 1am wasn’t my thing. I didn’t try to fit the
mold of a “college student” – I built life-long friendships, focused on
growing as an individual, and picked up skills for success to carry with
me. I had a wonderful time but did things my way. I couldn’t be more
proud of where I am just 5 months later: New state, new school, new
job, new business, dental school interviews – check, check, check, check, and check. LIVE YOUR LIFE YOUR WAY!

    Ah, your thought at the end about living your life in a way that makes you happy – the struggle! I'm a few years out of college, and living in a college town that doesn't have much to offer young professionals. Most nights, being in a bar until 2am isn't my thing, either. I'd rather be home, in comfy clothes, with a glass of good wine, and in bed by a decent hour. After a good workout and relaxing evening! Maybe I'm getting older – but it's hard to go against the grain, isn't it?
