Legs – 7/10

Legs:
-cable kickbacks
-smith machine squats
-stiff-legged barbell dead lifts
     -superset with barbell stationary lunges
-barbell good mornings
-glute bridges

TIP OF THE DAY: Embrace a rest day! Did you miss me yesterday? 😉 I took a break from the gym & from blogging – it’s so healthy to both physically and mentally relax. Although, I will admit, it is quite hard for me to “rest” from the gym. For
me, getting into the gym everyday is the fun, easy part; my greater
struggle is getting in all my meals and keeping them clean. I find that
both working out and eating healthy compliment each other – when I eat
clean, I want to workout and when I workout I want to eat clean. My tip – even on a rest day, get in your gym clothes and take 20minutes for a deep stretching session!

Fitness Barbie Gym Style:
Sports Bra: Lululemon
Shorts: Nike Pro Combat
Rise & Grind – 5am wake up call to get in a meal before my 630am workout. Fasted workouts do not work for me – I neeeeed a sufficient carbohydrate and protein intake prior to any workout.

Daily Dose of Motivation: Transformations are motivation within themselves! I was beyond touched & humbled by Amanda (IG: @amanda_grrr) sharing her journey with me. Amanda has gone from 185lbs to 150lbs,
creating a fit body in 16 weeks following my blog/workouts. Most
importantly, she feels happier, healthier, and more confident. So proud
of this beautiful girl!
