TIP OF THE DAY: After having noticed the trend towards losing focus/having trouble staying on track
with your health and fitness goals on the weekends. Each day this week, I
will be sharing my personal tips for how I balance fun and maintaining
focus Friday-Sunday. So, my second tip is to take your fitness outdoors on the weekend and include family/friends…make it fun! For instance, run with your sister/mom/family member, take your kids to the pool to swim, allow your boyfriend/husband to serve as your personal trainer in the backyard, or attend a class with a friend. Taking your fitness outdoors is a great way to enjoy it more and sharing it with others prevents you from feeling like you’re missing out on spending time with loved ones.

Make your day ABSolutely wonderful!

Houston… I’m coming for ya 😉
I cannot resist these beautiful views!

Until I have to head back up the stairs…..
Funny of the Day: I went to The Heat last night – it was so adorable and funny! This scene had me laughing uncontrollably. I understand ladies opt for Spanx to lift things up, keep them tight, and prevent unwanted bumps and lumps, but I think they actually do more harm that one may believe. I’m all about doing what makes you happy, but I cannot help but think about the mental state after taking off your Spanx and feeling different. I had a friend share with me that she has two bodies: her real body and her body in shapewear. To me, this just seems like something that would eat at your confidence and security within your own body. If you don’t like something about your body – work hard and change it; Spanx are a band aid that masks the problem!
