Legs (lunge focused):
-seated hamstring curls
-barbell squats
-split lunges with back leg on bench
-superset with weighted walking lunges
-side to side lunges on bosu ball (see video below)
-calf press

TIP OF THE DAY: Healthy living = healthy relationships. Fortunately, I have really healthy relationships in my life: family, friends, boyfriend. I accredit a lot of that to the healthy lifestyle I lead. We’ve all been there – drama over boyfriends, catty girl fights, hostile relationships with parents/siblings; hopefully, these days have come and gone as you’ve matured through life. However, at 22, the majority of my peers still have some of these unhealthy types of relationships in their life. How can health and fitness change that? Maintaining a healthy lifestyle brings you confidence as well as self love and respect. When you show yourself respect (ie: clean eating, disciplined workouts), you are setting the standard for the others around you as to how they treat you. Lead by example and let health and fitness lead the way.
years later… he is still my best friend, my other half, my partner in
crime, my confidante, my greatest source of joy, my biggest
cheerleader, and my greatest support system. I don’t know what I did to
deserve having found this at such a young age, but it has made my life
so rich & complete; when you find “your person,” you really do
realize all you need is love❤
