Back & Biceps – 3/17

Back & Biceps
Back:
-assisted pull ups
     -superset with straight arm cable pushdowns
-wide grip lat pull down machine
-bent over barbell rows
     -superset with barbell deadlifts
Biceps:
-EZ curl bar cable curls
     -superset with high cable curls with handle attachements
-dumbbell hammer curls

TIP OF THE DAY: Take a little time for yourself every Sunday! For instance, exercise your mind through meditation. I’ll admit it, at one point, I thought meditation was rather silly as I’m sure a few of you are thinking. However, physical results are dependent on countless factors other than just diet and exercise. For example, glucocorticoids (such as cortisol) are produced by the body when under stress. In the long term, glucocorticoids lead to a plethora of “unhealthy” effects on the body, including fat storage. Taking a few minutes on a Sunday to relax the mind may benefit you more than you think!

I took a full week off of preworkouts/stimulants, and tried 1/2 scoop preworkout today… WOW! I suggest trying it sometime if you find yourself taking a daily preworkout product!
