Quick, Easy, and Healthy Breaded Chicken

Ingredients:

-boneless, skinless chicken breasts (unfrozen)
-Mrs. Dash Salt-Free Lemon Herb Peppercorn marinade
-lemons
-ground flax seed
Prep:
-preheat oven to 400 degrees
-marinade chicken breasts with Mrs. Dash marinade (I marinade mine in a plastic bag and let sit overnight)
-line a cookie sheet with tin foil and place the chicken breasts on the cookie sheet
-for each chicken breast, sprinkle 1-2 tbsp of ground flax seed over each chicken breast (I find it easiest sprinkle a line down the center and use my fingers to distribute evenly)
-zest a lemon and apply lemon zest to each chicken breast
-bake for approximately 30-40 minutes or until chicken breasts are cooked through
This is the perfect, healthy alternative to sodium filled breaded chicken, yet still tasty. If desired, finish by topping the chicken breast with a squeeze of lemon juice! Enjoy 🙂
