Cardio Day 10/10

AM: 25min stair stepper
PM: 30 min HIIT treadmill workout
-3min walk (warm-up)
-2min jog (warm-up)
-20min: 1 min sprint (8.0-8.8); 1 min walking (4.0-4.2)
-3min jog (cool down)
-2min walk (cool down)

The best thing about HIIT cardio is that the results/calorie burning that would require much longer can be achieved through shorter training (just 20 minutes of actual high intensity intervals). Also, with HIIT, calorie burning remains higher in the hours after you’ve completed your workout! Cutting back on time and increasing burned calories?! That’s my kind of cardio 🙂
