TIP OF THE DAY: Never forget a warm-up! Whether its cardio or weight training, a proper warm-up is essential! Warming up your body prepares your nervous system for the exercise acoming. It also increases your mental focus, losesens up your joints and muscles (aiding in injury prevention), and allows your heart to gradually aclimate to the increase in activity, which allows for proper blood flow and oxygen/nutrient delivery. Allow yourself 5-10 minutes to warm-up, doing gradual aerobic build ups and flexibility movements.
