SummerFitcation Challenge Week 3 Schedule Overview

Week 3 of the Summer Challenge brings a fun switch up and I encourage you to push yourself a little harder this week.

What’s new… you’ll notice that this week we head into reverse order workouts. This means that we are completing exercises seen in Week 1 but in a different order. You will be familiar with the exercise form but the workouts will feel fresh to keep the body adapting to something different.

Why I absolutely love this approach… it allows us to focus on progressively training (remember that term from the Weight Training Manual). Because you’ve encountered the exercises in week 1, you should have the form down. This allows us to focus on things like… increasing the weight, hitting a few more reps or taking shorter rest sets. Be sure to challenge yourself in those ways.

The new Weight Training Plans 2.0 (home version + gym version) are the official fitness plan for the SummerFitcation Challenge.

Workout of the Day: Phase 1, Week 3 – Legs

Daily Photo Challenge:  “FAV LEG EXERCISE” – share a photo of you’re favorite leg/booty exercise. Add in 2 sets of 20 reps of it to today’s workout! #LGSummerFitcation

-TUESDAY-

Workout of the Day: Phase 1, Week 3 – Push

Daily Photo Challenge: “HOME” – share a glimpse inside your home today. Do you have a favorite piece of art? Decor item that means a lot to you? A favorite room?  #LGAccountability #LGSummerFitcation

Daily Photo Challenge: “QUICK CLOSET CLEAN” – here’s some homework for you today… dedicate 5 minutes to quickly cleaning your closet or the place you keep your workout clothing. A little bit of organization goes a long way! Share a photo of your workout wardrobe area with the community.  #LGAccountability #LGSummerFitcation

Daily Photo Challenge:  “SELFIE” – Smile! It’s Friday! Share your beautiful self (and selfie) with the community! What are you looking forward to this weekend??  #LGAccountability #LGSummerFitcation
