Summer Fitcation Challenge: Week 1 Fitness Schedule

Anddd, we’re off! The Summer Fitcation Challenge is your summer vacation destination for a happy, healthy summer! During this digital LG Girls getaway, we will follow the same workout plan, partake in fun daily photo challenges, try new nutritious and delicious recipes, sculpt a fit body, develop a rockin’ mindset and have fun as a community.

Here’s what you need to know…

(1) Your daily workout is found in the brand new Weight Training Plans (see here)
(2) The schedule below will be posted at the start of each week and is to help you plan out the week ahead
(3) The #LGSummerFitcation daily photo challenge is fun way for us to practice making these healthy mind and body habits a lasting lifestyle; the summer is about enjoying and these photo challenges will remind us to do just that

Phase 1, Week 1 SCHEDULE

Sunday:

While the beginning of a challenge is a great time to set new goals, it’s also important for us to recognize all that is already amazing and perfect in our lives right now. Share something that is absolutely wonderful around you / about you.

Monday:

[ ] #LGSummerFitcation Photo Challenge: “motivational quote”

There’s nothing quite like opening your Instagram account, clicking #LGAccountability and seeing a flood of motivation quotes to get your day going on a positive note. Share your favorite inspirational quote today! 
Tuesday:
[ ] Workout: Pull I
[ ] #LGSummerFitcation Photo Challenge: “try it”

Whatever it is that comes to your mind first… try it! Try what? I don’t know but I do know that you have something in the back of your mind you’ve been thinking about. Start small. If you’ve been wanting to try out that new restaurant during your lunch hour, go for it today! If you’ve been thinking of testing your pull up PR, try it today! If you’ve been thinking of reaching out to someone but haven’t been willing to swallow your pride, just do it.. try it! Share a photo of what you tried out today! Think of all the courage and adventurous attitudes we’re building!
Wednesday:

[ ] #LGSummerFitcation Photo Challenge: “dream vaca”

To get us over that hump day slump, how about we day dream… what’s your dream vacation? Ah, sounds delightful. Share a photo of a place you’d love to travel to. Let your mind stay there for awhile – there’s no fee for that lol. Any chance you could make this trip a reality? What’s holding you back?
Thursday:

For today’s photo challenge, I encourage you to glance over the Progressive Overload pages in the LG Weight Training Plan – what can you do during today’s workout to really push the limits on your intensity. Can you increase the weight, go for an extra rep, or take shorter rests?! Share your #LGSweatSeshSelfie with what you did to push the limits during your lift. Hmm… now how can you go push the limits in your life outside the gym?!
Friday:

Happy FriYAY! What are you wearing to look and feel fabulous today? Can you spice something up? Perhaps…. some sky high heels, bold lipstick, winged eyeliner (anyone a pro at this? come visit me! lol), curls, a braid, bold colored top, neon sneakers, anything! Now share that fabulous Friday selfie!

Saturday:

If you don’t like a burger, pizza, froyo or flamin hot cheetos on occasion, I don’t know if you’ll like me very much because this girl neeeeeeds balance! Enjoy that balanced today with a yummy meal and/or adult beverage (if you’re of age). Share of photo of you living and loving that healthy balance!
