ConfidenceKini Body Tip of the Day: Power down to power up! Healthy living does wonders for our energy levels, but we cannot constantly run on high. During the week, our schedules often lead to a need to sustain high energy, so it’s especially important that on the weekend, we learn to power down. I’ve found powering down does wonders for the mood! The societal norm of “go go go” not only leads to physical exhaustion, but also mental exhaustion. Without us even being aware of it, hormones like cortisol and adrenalin are pumping through our bodies in response to our outer experiences like stress and anxiety. Putting an importance on powering down can have a wonderful impact on your mood and ability to power up!
