Tip of the Day: How to get the most out of HIIT cardio workouts?! If you’ve followed my previously posted HIIT cardio workouts (especially on the treadmill), you’ve noticed that I often incorporate intervals of complete rest. I do this to give my self a few seconds to adjust the treadmills’ speed & interval settings to prepare for the next interval. Speaking from experience, I’ve found it’s almost too easy to waste time pressing buttons on cardio machines switching between interval settings during HIIT treadmill workouts. Following short bursts of high intensity cardio, build in time in your workouts to allow for these adjustments to be made.
