How To Take Simple Steps To Clean Up Your Eating Habits
Habit 1 of 5: (( SWAP ))

When first attempting to “eat healthier,” it can be very overwhelming trying to find a place to begin. In general, I suggest taking baby steps because in my experience, I’ve found that individuals who ease into healthy living are able to maintain healthy habits and results as compared to people who dive in. The first place I suggest starting is swapping unhealthy items for healthier options ((key being healthier)) Don’t deprive yourself or force yourself to eat foods you don’t like. Instead, swap a bag of potato chips at lunch for a granola bar. Once you feel satisfied with a granola bar, you can go on to swap that for a healthier carbohydrate, such as a potato. From there, you can swap a regular potato for a sweet potato. As you can see, we can continuously swap items for healthier ones! Take those baby steps with swapping and you’ll find yourself enjoying healthy eating without feeling deprived!

Challenge:
Swap an unhealthy or even a moderately-healthy item for something healthier today! Share your healthy swap!

    Dear Lauren,

I love your blog and the LGAccountability Girls! I am already skinny and am trying to build up defined muscles. However I find it very difficult to eat healty as I am still living at home and my Family has no support whatsoever for healthy food, no matter how often they taste nice healthy food. As a student unfortunately I cannot afford to buy my own food every day although I try most of the time now. maybe you or some of the other girls have some tips for me? I really want to keep the work up and I love the lifestyle. I am grateful for any help offered. Thank you! <3

Hi Lauren! I'm a new, but huge, fan! I just bought your Eat Your Way Lean ebook as well as your Total Body Transformation and was wondering a couple things:
    1. How do you feel about carbs? As in, are you a nonbeliever in carbs or a believer? Do you promote including carbs in our diet or do you believe that a low carb diet is the better approach in your experience?

    2. I was also wondering if when you finish Total Body Transformation you'd recommend re-doing the workout again, or trying something new?
