Self-Love Message of the Day:
I’m a to-do list maker…anyone else?! A great tip I picked up is to look at your to-do list and mark each task with an “I” for Important or a “U” for Urgent. Urgent tasks are those that are typically time-sensitive whereas important tasks are those that make a big impact on our future, but most commonly are pushed off until “tomorrow.”

So often, we only make time in our lives for the urgent tasks. We wake up, rush to work or school, get everything done for tomorrow, swing by the doctor’s office on the way home, make the family dinner, then before we know it, it’s time for bed and those urgent tasks yet again fall onto tomorrow’s to-do list. The idea behind a to-do list marked with important and urgent items is that we actually begin our day with important tasks. If something is urgent, it will get done regardless because you will make it happen, but unless an important task is given the proper attention, it may never be gotten to.

What’s important to you that you’re pushing to the side in order to accomplish all your urgent tasks? As we work to achieve a deeper sense of self-love, it’s critical that our important tasks be gotten to! Those important tasks should also include elements of self-care. Many of us are givers, and we give so much that we often leave little leftover for ourselves. Recognize that the more we have, the more we have to give! It’s not selfish to take care of yourself; it’s essential!

Daily Challenge: Show love to yourself through self-care! Treat yourself to an at-home spa night: bath, face mask, mani and pedi?! Sounds heavenly! Pamper yourself and recharge! Let’s see it 🙂

    Hi Lauren,
I love following your blog and your workouts are so fun and easy to understand! I just had a question about the weights you use. I've started with the lowest weights and increase when I can handle it. Should I keep adding weights or stay at a certain weight for a long time?? For example, on tricep kickbacks, I started on 5 lbs and can do it with 10 now… should I try moving up or stay at 10?? Thanks and good luck with everything :))

You can try increasing weights! It's a form of progress! Other ways to increase the challenge is to add more reps, add more sets, or even to decrease the rest time in between sets.
