Simple Yoga Sequence for Stretching Out Sore Muscles

Over the years, I have learned to appreciate ((and even develop a slight addition to)) yoga. Twice a week you can find me in a restorative yoga class. It may seem like quite a different workout for someone who typically weight lifts, but it is actually just what we need! There is no other type of stretching, foam rolling or massage that can relieve my sore muscles and help me regain flexibility like yoga can.
If I can’t get to a class, there are a few go-to yoga poses I have, and I’ll even put them in a sequence and repeat for a few minutes. If your muscles are sore, and you’re looking for a different way to stretch them out, I highly suggest this simple sequence perfect for beginner and advanced yogis! I like to hold each pose for a few deep breaths (5-8) and repeat for as long as it takes to stretch out.
Plank
Chaturanga
Upward Facing Dog
Downward Facing Dog
Runners Lunge
Warrior II
Reverse Warrior
Tree Pose
Happy & Grateful Tree Pose 😉
I hope these poses help relieve your achy muscles and lead you to feel more flexible in your workouts and daily life!

Yoga is one of the best way to relief any kind of pain that is been running in your body. one of simplest way I can tell you is just get a bath in a hot water. Your body's first reaction to being immersed in hot water is to try to get back to its normal temperature by pumping the heart faster, so as to bring blood to the surface and, normally, disperse extra body heat into the air. This causes a temporary increase in blood pressure. But because spa water is maintained at a high temperature – and water is one of the most effective conductors of heat – the blood being carried to the body's surface is warmed, rather than cooled. The longer the soaker remains in the spa, the more times the blood cycles through the body – and the deeper into the body the warm temperature is carried. Studies have shown that immersion in a spa maintained at 104 degrees can raise the core body temperature to 102 degrees Fahrenheit in less than 20 minutes… So get down to a dealer who has a Fantasy Hot Tub Spas Collection and buy one for your own.. Get into the hot tub and Renew your body, mind & sprit. Thanks

Thank you so much for reading all of our comments and taking care of us! This was just what I needed (note to self, sore biceps and chaturanga don't mix)
