#LGAccoutability Tip of the Day: Beating diet boredom is one of the keys to sustaining healthy eating long term! So often we think about this in terms of food items we consume, but I’ve also found varying liquids can help not only keep boredom at bay, but also keep cravings down! Did you know that thirst and hunger stem from the same place? It’s called the hypothalamus! I was so shocked when I learned that in a biology class during my undergrad, but it makes complete sense! Our body sends us that survival “eat/drink” message, but we often misconstrue which one it is. The next time your cravings kick in, try drinking liquids, specifically water to see if that helps. You certainly may be hungry, but often a little hydration can kick silly cravings to the curb!
#LGAccountability Daily Challenge: There are so many amazing fall drinks out there, but finding a healthy version can be a bit of a struggle ((the pumpkin spice latte pops into my head this season)) Today, share with the community your favorite fall drink recipe!
