Tip of the Day: Think outside the box! I began my fitness journey with weight training and reached my goals, so I stuck with that style…for years. Do you ever find that once you find something that works, you’re hesitant to try anything else. I know I’ve stuck with the same exact mascara for over four years and I don’t even give other brands a chance. Can you relate??

Likewise, I thought that because traditional weight training helped me get fit and lean, it would be a waste of my time to try any other types of workouts. This, however, can lead to a lack of motivation and a mundane routine in the long term. Opening up your mind to fitness ideas that aren’t traditional is a great way to not only see better results and keep your workouts fun and exciting.

Don’t get me wrong, I still LOVE weight training, and incorporating other types of workouts keeps me loving it. Today’s workout is a perfect illustration of this point.
