Tip of the Day: Another reason why I love circuits! If you’re a regular follower of my blog, you know I love circuit training. Allow me to share yet another reason why! There are certain days/muscle goups (ie: chest & triceps) that when I weight train, I don’t “feel” like I’ve worked out. I actually become addicted to the feelings of being exhausted after a workout, the elevated heart rate, and the all over sweating. For me, certain workouts are just harder for me to feel those feelings, so I make it a circuit. Try it out! Even if you’re feeling that half way through any workout, your pace is slow and you’re losing motivation, make it a circuit and I bet it will change around your mood!

    Hi Lauren!
    I wanted to train for running and also do lifting. I see you only have certain cardio days. Could I run before/after these workouts as well? I'm not sure I should go about that.

    I can't speak for Lauren, but personally I love pairing her strength training with my runs or other cardio! She writes great strength sessions! I just run on non-consecutive days!
