HIIT Cardio & Abs – 10/16

Cardio:
-3 min walking (warm up)
-25min HIIT
     Sprint
     Jog
     Complete rest
     Inclined sprint
     Inclined jog
     Complete rest
     x8
-3 min walking (cool down)

Abs:
-Cable rope crunches
     superset with plank
-Russian twists
-Extended crunches

Don’t get caught up in a dull, mundane cardio routine! There’s no reason cardio has to be long or boring! My best cardio workouts are HIIT style (35min ish) and involves several different intervals that I always feel like I’m doing something different.

Eat Clean to Get Lean: Simple
dinner! This is an example of a meal I often order when out as well
(aside from treat meals). Regardless of what I even see on the menu I
ask for grilled chicken with no seasoning or sauce, steamed veggies, and
a baked potato. It’s helpful to not only specify healthy food but also
healthy preparation.

    Love love love your HIITs, Lauren! They make Cardio go by so fast and I feel like I can cram a really good workout in a really short time on busy days!

    Hi, I am a danish follower of yours living in Germany. I am a former olympian (2008), so I REALLY like how precisely you write everything down. You really take your time to explain, give your view on everything. Keep up with that good work.
