Cardio & Abs – 7/6

Cardio & Abs
Cardio (stairs)
-3min jogging (warm up)
-25min HIIT
     sprints up the stairs
     high knees down the stairs (substitute with easy walking down the stairs or a short rest if needed)
     ….repeat
-3 min jogging (cool down)

Abs:
-mountain climbers with hands on step
-spider mans with hands on step
-crunches seated on step

*Here is another total body workout I recorded awhile back that can be used on any types of stairs as well; add in a stair sprint in between sets to make it more of a cardio/circuit workout (click here)

TIP OF THE DAY: Understand there is no secret to getting fit. I cannot express how often I’ve been
asked before “what’s your secret,” – I’m sure many of you have heard a similar question. The biggest secret is that there
isn’t one. Supplements are not magic pills or special shakes;
supplements are intended to do just that – supplement a healthy diet
& regular exercise. Supplements alone will not give you results; in
fact, for the past week, I’ve taken off from using any supplements &
I haven’t shriveled up or blown up 😉 It’s all about hard work and
consistency! YOU CAN DO IT!

Call me crazy, but I’m addicted to getting hot and sweaty! I love a cardio workout outside in the hot sun and working up a good sweat! “Sweat is fat crying” 🙂

Saturday! I hope this holiday week was good to you all. Don’t
forget…life is for living. If you’re feeling off track after all these
summer celebrations, keep in mind healthy living is a lifestyle. There
will be ups & downs, good days and bad days. Don’t take health &
fitness so seriously that you forget to enjoy all that life has to
offer. Everything can be enjoyed in moderation! Keep your eyes set
forward and you will always get to where you want.
