TIP OF THE DAY: Work hard. Stay humble. I will be the first to admit that health and fitness can make one become rather narcissistic. As much as I love blogging & Instagram-ing, I sometimes get tired of talking about my workouts, my meals, my advice: me, me, me. However, I do it because I remember what it was like to be in the position of not knowing and looking to others for advice (something I still do). I work hard, but am humbled by the reaction I get to sharing the information that I possess. I think it is highly important for each one of us to find something that always keeps us grounded, whether it be family, good friends, yoga, prayer, or some time spend away from the gym and/or kitchen. While we should definitely be proud of our accomplishments, there is nothing more unattractive that an individual who just lost a bunch of weight or changed their body and then their head and ego double in size. No matter how hard you work and how far you’ve come, be sure to keep two feet on the ground!
