TIP OF THE DAY: Never underestimate the power of a simple to-do list. Anyone who knows me, knows that I live and die by my daily to-do lists & that I have post-it notes hanging everywhere. A simple to-do list with a few tasks to get done each day will enable you to plan out all your daily priorities; checking off these tasks provides a feeling of accomplishment, which can be motivation for continuing to complete tasks. Further, by laying out the things that must get done in a day, you can get plan when workouts and meal prep can be fit into your daily schedule! Give it a try – there are great apps out there for this, but I love the old fashioned post-it and pen!

Back at my home gym & I couldn’t be happier – a “new” gym is the ultimate workout motivation for me 🙂
The middle picture is proof that muscles don’t make you “bulky,” which is a common concern among women who are getting into weight training. Pictures of women flexing often give the appearance of larger size; however, because muscle is more dense than fat, it physically takes up less space on your body, providing a smaller figure.
Meet
Anthony 🙂 I don’t talk much about my boyfriend, but as he moves
tomorrow to start his post-grad job in Texas, I couldn’t be a more proud
girlfriend. Lets face it…I’m not exactly an easy person to date: my
personality is strong & independent, I do things my way, and there’s
half clothed pictures of me all over. Despite all that, this man loves
every bit of me. I’m so happy to have found someone who values hard
work, dedication, and healthy living as much as I do. He’s truly my best
friend and other half. “The whole is greater than the sum of its two
parts” Cheers to Anthony!
