Shoulders – 4/4

Shoulders:
-standing Arnold dumbbell shoulder press
-superset with standing dumbbell side lateral raises
-dumbbell upright rows
-bent over rear delt dumbbell flys

TIP OF THE DAY: Beats per minute – for workout songs?! So, I recently read an article on the best workout songs as having the highest number of beats per minute. You know – those fast beat songs that make you feel like if you’re not sprinting, you’re going to slow 😉 Recommended songs & some of my favorites included Clocks by Coldplay, Crazy in Love by Beyonce, and Boom Boom Pow by the Black Eyed Peas. However, there were even classical songs on the list!

Focusing on those rear delts; don’t forget about what’s behind you 😉
Song of the Day: Boom Boom Pow -Black Eyed Peas
Why not give the theory a try, right?! I think this tip would really add to a cardio workout; for lifting days, I love a song with a lot of bass.

Hey I was wondering how many sets youre doing on those exercises! And how long are your weight lifting sessions? I think if I did 4 sets on each exercise you posted i'd be done 15 minutes later 😀 I feel like a weight lifting session should be longer? or am i wrong? :S

I have a video on my youtube channel (FitnessBarbieALRI) regarding reps/sets that you may find helpful! The length of any type of workout is entirely up to you & what you find to work best. For instance, some people may do a lift then cardio, whereas I separate those into two different sessions because that works best for me. The duration of a weight lifting session doesn't matter as much in my opinion as long as quality is there. Also, rest periods may vary (I take short rests), which speeds up my workout
