Legs:
-5-10 min walking on treadmill (warm up)
-leg press
-superset with walking lunges
-leg curls
-superset with leg extensions
-smith machine stiff legged deadlifts
-superset with smith machine donkey kicks (pictured)
TIP OF THE DAY: Smith machine donkey kicks demo. Position the smith machine safe guard/stoppers to the lowest position. I recommend beginning this exercise without weight added to ensure you get a feel for the movement first. Unrack the smith machine and position yourself so your knee is in alignment with the bar and you are resting on your hands & knees. Squeezing your hamstrings and glutes, press the bar up and slowly return down. Keep the weight of the bar in the middle of your shoe (my shoes have a groove it fits into – arch of the foot area).
