Legs – 2/7

Legs:
-leg extensions
-leg press
     -superset with star jumps
-dumbell stiff legged dead lifts
-smith machine squat
     -superset with cable kickbacks
-barbell calf raises

TIP OF THE DAY: Give your self some time to get in the zone prior to a workout. There is a reason why athletes spend a sufficient amount of time in the locker room prior to a game; you don’t begin a sporting event immedietely upon arriving. Allow your self a few minutes to gather your thoughts before beginning your workout. Think about what you’re going to do during your workout, run through the game-plan, set a few personal goals for that workout, and envision your overall goal. Preparing your mind is just as important as warming up your body for your workout!

My boyfriend always finds it funny that I have no recollection of who was at the gym when I worked out, but I’ve learned to get myself into “the zone” to where I can focus and tune everything else out. I promise that your workouts will benefit from this type of mindset!
