Cardio Day – 2/6

Cardio (treadmill):
-5min walking (warm up)
-30min:
     3min jogging
     1min spring
     2 min inclined walking
     …repeat
-5min walking (cool down)

TIP OF THE DAY: If you’re feeling like you’re not getting the most out of your cardio,  try these three things: 1) Allow a minimum of 5 cardio workouts before repeating the same cardio routine 2) Keep your hands by your side and off the machine handles/side bars – this will engage your core & burn even more calories 3) Be creative – jump off the gym machines & get creative with cardio; as long as your heart rate is elevated for an extended period of time, your cardio workout has no limits!

Alright ladies, pool season is right around the corner 8) The great part about eating clean & sticking to a solid workout routine year round is that your body should be looking & feeling great as is! Still, that doesn’t mean we can’t put in a little extra effort to tighten up a little more. I’m thinking about starting a “bikini body” series – recipes, workouts, diet plan, etc. to get us excited & geared up for spring & summer; it’s not just about the bikini body, rather feeling confident in your bikini!

    Please do recipes for the summer bikini body challenge! I always need healthy recipes and I'm really feeling motivated to kick it into gear and get in great shape before a Hawaii vaca in June!!!
