Legs – 1/19

Legs:
-leg press (2 warm up sets, 2 work sets)
     -superset with 60sec jump-rope
-stiff legged barbell deadlifts
     -superset with barbell lunges
-seated hamstring curls
     -superset with 60sec jump-rope
-smith machine squats
     -superset 60sec jump-rope

TIP OF THE DAY: Booty tip! Whether it’s a squat or a leg press, going as low into the movement as possible will provide the most stimulation to your glute muscles. For instance, on the leg press, allow your knees to come into your chest before pushing back out. In a squat, sit into the movement, allowing your thighs to become parallel with the ground. Go only as low as you can without sacrificing your form – when you move out of incorrect form, those glutes are no longer targeted no matter how low you are.

This may have been one of my best leg workouts ever! The more muscle you build, the better muscle contraction you begin feeling during your workouts, and the better results you get – don’t give up ladies, keep working hard! My legs were so pumped today (from the superset jump-roping) that I thought they were going to explode! Took a moment to admire my post-leg workout silhouette in the mirror – booty bulk 🙂 Don’t forget to enjoy your hard work once in awhile!

get a lot of questions regarding where I buy my workout clothing &
while a lot of my clothing is lululemon, it’s definitely not the only
place that has cute workout gear! I have a very small waist with more
size/muscle around my glutes & very long legs – lulus tight fitted
clothing fits my body type best but I do understand it’s on the higher
end of the price range spectrum. Still, I’ve bought a lot of really cute
pieces from Target, TJ Maxx, Forever 21, H&M & Old Navy for a
lot less. I just got this long sleeve thermal for only $20 from Old Navy
& it’s just as cute as some of my more expensive items! Expensive
clothing does not mean it will make you look better…YOU and your body
dictate how good something looks on you 🙂
