Legs – 12/8 (DAY 9)

Legs:
-leg press (medium-width stance)
     -superset with jumping lunges

-smith machine lunges with back leg on bench
     -superset with 1 min high knees

-walking dumbbell lunges
     -superset with long jumps

-smith machine squat
     -superset with side to side jumps

Calves (optional):
-seated calf raises

-standing barbell calf raises
     -superset with 1min jump rope (you can fake the jump-rope motion if you don’t have the actual rope)

TIP OF THE DAY: I had my treat meal last night instead of today (my boyfriend bought me a
mini pizza). I woke up feeling a little bit bloated, so I was sure to
hit the water jug first thing and will continue to do so all day. Treat
meals are a great way to kickstart your metabolism, especially when
dieting, but yesterday I was so full that it caused me to miss my next
meal and suffer from terrible stomach aches! This is when I would
reccommend “clean cheats” – typically homemade… healthIER ingredients, but something not in your regular meal plan that is tasty. When your diet is very clean, it can cause severe digestive discomfort when you ingest processed, fatty, greasy, unhealthy food in one meal. I do better with sweat treats than I do with salty/fatty/greasy cheats. Treat yourself with caution 🙂
