Legs:
-Barbell squats
-Seated leg curls
     superset with dumbbell reverse lunges
-Leg extensions
     superset with dumbbell walking lunges
-Weighted glute bridges

Calves:
-Barbell calf raises
     superset with bodyweight calf raises

Tip of the Day: New gym shoes for the win! I love a fresh, new pair of kicks. The more and more I workout, I’ve learned to appreciate a “good” pair. On my most recent trip to the shoe store, I had this in mine, but had no idea what constituted a good pair of athletic shoes. My best advice – listen to what the man or woman at the shoe store has to share. My second best advice – here is what I’ve found to benefit me most… pick shoes for your specific activity. For instance, I like my running shoes to be supportive (a nice arch) and lightweight. I like my everyday/weight training shoes to have a nice cushion with comfort and support. I like my leg day training shoes to be flat to the ground with very little heel. And when all else fails… a new pair of shoes always serves as the best motivation for me to get to the gym 😉
