Legs – 11/20

Legs:
-leg extensions
-leg curls 
-barbell squats (medium stance)
-leg press (narrow stance)
-barbell front lunches
     -superset with barbell step ups (make sure you have enough weight on barbell to really challenge yourself)

-seated calf raises
-barbell standing calf raises

*All movements are 3 sets of 12-15 reps; near the end of your workout take the last sets to failure

TIP OF THE DAY: In light of this being Thanksgiving week, why don’t we all try to remind ourselves of how thankful we are to have good people around us. Identify one individual outside of the fitness industry who inspires you; their inspiration may be strong enough to motivate you in the gym as well. For instance, my great grandma was the kindest, most peaceful, and most patient women I’ve ever known; I NEVER heard her speak an unkind word about anyone! Her famous saying was “when you have your health, you have your wealth.” Into her 80s she was religiously reading prevention magazine! Who can you think of that inspires you to be a better person?

This workout kicked my butt today; I snuck out of my anatomy lab
early to get to the gym between classes, so I kept a fast pace, making
this workout a little bit of cardio as well!
