Cardio Day – HIIT (high intensity interval training):
PART 1 (Treadmill)
-5min walking (warm up)
-15min:
45sec sprint
45sec skipping
45sec walking
PART 2 (Boxing)
-8min:
-30sec alternating arm punches
-30sec hopping around in place with occasional jabs
-30sec rest
-5min walking (cool down)
This workout was absolutely awesome! So sweaty and really got my heart pumping = byebye calories! I would recommend starting off with this workout later in the day after you have had at least one solid meal in you because you will need the energy from that meal to get through this workout, thus, burning even more calories!
Max heart rate of 181 – now that is HIIT! BOXING GLOVES – I made the mistake of not using these once and my hands paid the price for 2 weeks. Chain’d Out to get me through a cardio day as always – keeps my body fed and provides me with endurance and focus!
