-1 hour yoga

-20 min stretching
TIP OF THE DAY: An active rest day is a great option for a rest day without taking a day off. A true rest day would be considered on in which there was no lifting, no cardio, no gym class, etc. On the other hand, an active rest day is basically a day off from lifting and intense cardio; as an active person, I like the way I feel when I’m active and doing some type of physical activity. Light cardio, an easy level yoga class, and stretching are three great options to try on an active rest day. Also, on any type of rest day, I am very cautious about my diet and try to be especially careful of not sneaking a handful of this or a bite of that!
