TIP OF THE DAY: The importance of breakfast. “I’m not a breakfast person” “I’m just not hungry early in the morning” – if this is you, we need to work on that! Breakfast is an essential meal of the day and cannot be missed. Eating breakfast (after hours of not feeding your body) kick starts your metabolism for the day. Skipping breakfast may lead to individuals eating more than they normally would at the next meal and throughout the day. Also, when your body goes long periods without being fed, it will then store the next food you feed it as fat in fear of another starvation.

Looking for a healthy but tasty breakfast option? Keep an eye out for a future post as to my favorite breakfast meal and no it is not egg whites!
