Legs 9/3

AM: 30min cardio

PM: Legs:
-squats (medium stance, heavy weight)
-cable kickbacks (just enough to get a pump glutes)
-lunges with back leg on bench
-laying leg curls on bench with dumbbell in between feet
-leg press (burn out sets, lighter weight)

-calves

TIP OF THE DAY: Beta-alanine – use supplements to enhance your workouts 🙂 Beta-alanine is a non-essential amino acid (found in N’Gorge NOS or it can be bought by itself to be used as a pre-workout) that buffers the build up of lactic acid, delaying muscle fatigue. This allows us to train harder and longer – extra reps, extra sets, increasing the benefits. We all know the feeling of our legs “burning” after countless squats, which is actually the build up of lactic acid. Well, imagine being able to push that off a little longer while working out = major benefits. Just a forewarning, beta-alanine causes slight skin tingling after it is absorbed into the bloodstream – nothing painful or uncomfortable, just something to be aware of!
